My name is Seven Alexander Gardner. I live in Salt Lake City, UT with my partner and two spoiled dogs. I am a resident chaplain at St. Mark’s Hospital, in my 4th and final unit of CPE. My home church is Granger Christian Community Church in West Valley, UT.

I have wanted to go to seminary my whole life. Life took funny turns, and I found myself in very different directions for most of my younger life. After a long period of discernment, I felt strong in the call to ministry and pastoral care. The path to ordination and the path to becoming a Board Certified Chaplain both require the M.Div., and this allows me to fulfill my dream of attending seminary as well.

I am a passionate advocate for disability related issues. I am a strong advocate and voice for the LGBTQ+ community, and I work to be actively anti-racist. I am also passionate about music: I write, produce, and remix music digitally.

I am drawn to social justice issues and ministries to the poor, prisoners, the sick, and the unhoused. I am also interested in LGBTQ+ affirming ministries and programs.
